DIE BIBLIOTHEK DER WELTLITERATUR. AUSGEWÄHLT VON MARKUS FINKBEINER UND THOMAS HAFKI. (DIGITALE BIBLIOTHEK, 89) BERLIN: DIRECTMEDIA 2004. [Preis: 45,- EUR]

Abstract

The new Bibliothek der Weltliteratur offers a large collection of texts from various times, places and cultures. While its selection of texts and especially the choice and presentation of translations invite some criticism, the collection's worth as a reference tool is greatly enhanced by the new DigibibPlus implementation, which provides the Bibliothek with greater ease of use for research and cross-reference, though not with an improved on-screen readability.
